Sherman McLeod, a native of North Philadelphia, PA, faced the difficulties of growing up in a challenging environment as a teenager and young adult, ultimately leading to him dropping out of high school. However, a turning point came when Sherman’s grandmother and father motivated him to return to school for a brighter future. He successfully earned his GED and, after five years, graduated from Drexel University working for fortune 10 companies.
Leveraging his diverse experiences, Sherman later collaborated with his friend and business partner, Donald Jackson, to establish a technician school – Philadelphia Technician Training Institute.
Today, PTTI focuses on developing individuals, equipping them with unique skills highly valued by employers and an opportunity to craft a career in trade of their choice.
