Copyright Policy

Student Advisory Regarding Copyright Infringement: The concept of private property is one of the building blocks of our society. To take the property of another without permission is theft. This concept is also applicable to intellectual property, including music and video entertainment.

Students at Philadelphia Technician Training Institute are prohibited from using school computers, networks, or other electronic devices for the purpose of illegally duplicating or sharing copyrighted material. This not only includes printed material but downloaded or shared music, video, or other media files.

Students who engage in the illegal duplication or distribution of copyrighted material using Philadelphia Technician Training’s computers, networks, or other equipment are subject to disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from the school.

Student Advisory: Students are advised that the school’s computer network is monitored and all network activity can be observed and traced by school officials.
